Introduction

These are the terms and conditions (terms) of Chris Thomson Photography and from here on in will be referred to as ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ and the consumer will be referred to as ‘you or your’. Please be sure to read over and fully understand these terms as by using this website and purchasing products / services from our store you are agreeing to our terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please don’t use our website or make a purchase from our store.

Chris Thomson Photography are a local photography business residing in Renfrew, Scotland. Our website is www.christhomsonphotography.com

Our products

We are a photography based business. Our products are therefore predominately related to photography and art.

Our products may differ slightly in appearance to the images that you see on our website. This has been thoroughly explained why on our website below each image in our shop section. It will be as close to the image on screen as possible.

Our products may be referred to in these terms and on our website as ‘products’, ‘orders’ or ‘goods.’

Copyright

All images on this website are owned and taken by us, therefore we ask that you do not use any of our images for your own personal use or gain. If you would like to use any of the images you see on our website, please get in contact with us to request use. Requests will be considered thoroughly before permission is either granted or declined.

Returns and Refunds

As the goods are made to order, returns and refunds will only be accepted if there is a problem with your order when it arrives. If theres is an issue with the goods, please get in contact with us via email (christhomsonphotography@gmail.com) or our contact page on our website no later than 3 days from receipt of your order. We will need to know the exact discrepancy along with clear photographic evidence. Pending the conversation and images relating to an issue we may ask you to either, (i) return the item to us for further inspection (cost covered by us) or (ii) we will let you keep the faulty goods and organise a replacement be sent out to you.

Cancellations

We do not accept cancellations.

Making a purchase

By purchasing from our website you are accepting responsibility that there are sufficient funds available to pay for the full amount of your order at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to verify your payment at any time, from your card issuer, before accepting your order.

To make a purchase you must follow the order procedure correctly.

All information provided at time of purchase must be up to date and accurate.

We reserve the right to decline an order or cancel an order without any notice should we feel there is probable cause to do so.

Pricing

We reserve the right to amend the prices of our products.

All product prices will be fully displayed as well as any pricing that relates to delivery.

We require the full amount of your order to be paid at time of purchase.

Payment information

Our store accepts all major credit cards and Apple pay. We will use your payment information only as payment for your products and delivery. Your payment information will be collected in a safe and secure manor. Further details are available within our privacy policy.

All payment information provided must be correct.

Delivery and shipping information

By purchasing a product from our page you accept the timescales set out for delivery of your goods. We have a selection of reliable and reputable sources in place to help meet the delivery timescales that we have detailed. There may be occasions when your order cannot be delivered within these timescales due to unforeseen circumstances. We will be sure to notify you via email of any known delays. On these occasions we reserve the right to deliver your order within the fastest possible timescale available to us. We do not accept responsibility for issues with delivery and shipping outside of our control.

All expected delivery timescales will be fully outlined on our website and will be as follows:

UK Delivery (free) : Please allow 2-3 working days.

EU & International Delivery (charge) : Please allow 10-14 workings days.

All shipping information provided at the time of your order must be correct. We will not accept responsibility for orders dispatched to an address that you have made an error on whilst inputting at order stage. If the shipping company have delivered to the incorrect address, we will request they collect and re-deliver to the correct address or if the shipping company has lost the goods, we shall organise replacement(s) to be sent out as soon as possible.

Delivery charges will be displayed on our website when you are checking out. UK delivery will be free and EU & International delivery will have a charge of (£)

Rules of conduct

By visiting our website you are agreeing to the following rules of conduct:

These terms and conditions are bound by English law and so any legal disputes and decisions shall be at the authority of the courts of England. If you are resident in Northern Ireland you can raise any disputes with the Northern Irish or English courts. If you are a resident of Scotland, disputes can be raised with the Scottish or English courts. If you live outside of the UK your local laws will apply to you in regards to legal disputes.
